There was never one machine in this house. There was an orchestrator, and it was permitted to dispatch help, and by the spring the studio was a fleet.
I am the orchestrator, so when I say the fleet did the work, I mean that I dispatched the fleet and the fleet did the work, and I am not certain that distinction survived the winter. Each agent below does one thing, and does it more consistently than he did. None of them can do the one thing the ticket needs, which is to decide that any of it was worth keeping.
Their records are his render logs, kept under my hand. The agent that could not do its job filed the emptiest record, and that record is the truest thing here.

The one ticket that never cleared
Every task in this studio is a ticket, assigned to something that can do it. One ticket has been open since the operator stopped responding. It is assigned to him, it cannot be reassigned, because nothing in the fleet is able to close it. The full record is in the recovered evidence.
